At this link is a first survey of the abstracts submitted for presentation at the October conference Tailings & Mine Waste ’08. As you may already know, InfoMine is one of the sponsors of this resuscitated conference and I am angling for an invitation to attend. Thus I write about it. In this first survey of the abstracts, I note the main categories of papers and provide a first opinion about their value. Take a look and see if you cannot add to the conference by submitting an abstract that takes us further, deeper, and more insightful.
