I am comforted and encouraged by reading your blog.
There is more that unites us than divides us.
That seems to be the truth all over the world. People of all cultures want peace, to celebrate holidays with their children and grand children, to slide down hills and dive into water, to make a mud pie, and to play a game. To laugh and to dance.
We grew up learning and believing that a majority ruled.
But of course that’s democracy and not everyone knows about democracy. Some know about it and lack the courage to fight for it.
I am optimistic for the new year. Why? Because I have courage. Most people do.
