i think nationalization under the pretext that the government nationalizes, and there will be a fair distribution of resources is just to conceal the inadequacy of our leaders. why do they think that they can carryout such big projects or programmes when they still fail to ensure that everyone has access to services such as water at the local level...won't it be a trend on the existing social grants to a level where RSA locals would have a multiple choice of grants to choose from? for example, a grant for the unemployed, instead of equiping people with skills and capacities so that they could be self-reliant in longrun, not relief

The assumption that spreading the wealth of mines (diamond or any other minerals) will solve the dilemma of improving the lives of the Seweto residents and other impoverished suburbs in South Africa is indeed a "pipe dream" Having failed, at this time of writing, the ANC Government should search for another avenue of redemption.
The aspirations of Julius Malema, is no different from most 28 years old individuals. However, many of my own aspirations fell by the way-side, simply by being ignored.
That then is as simple as I can make it. Ignore the spoutings of a half baked politician.

I think SA will lose other investors confidence. The other factor is does SA has the necessary skill for mining? My other concern is SA is a Capitalist-Socialist Government.
